About this project

Quran Mind Maps turns the #YQGEMS poster series - hand-drawn Quran mind maps produced by Liverpool Muslim Outreach, one per Juz - into an interactive study tool. Every theme, verse reference, key fact, and “Did You Know” note across all 29 posters (2008+ individual concepts) was transcribed by hand from the original artwork, then structured into the mind maps you can explore here.

The goal is progressive disclosure: see the big picture of a surah first - its major themes - then drill into individual verses and facts only when you want to. The original posters remain linked from every relevant node, so you can always see the source material exactly as drawn.

This is not a substitute for scholarship. Verse references, translations, and explanatory notes were transcribed as faithfully as possible, but transcription of hand-drawn text can contain errors, and the original posters themselves are a teaching aid, not a primary source. Always verify verse citations against a trusted mushaf and consult qualified scholars for matters of interpretation and ruling.

This is an independent, unofficial project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Liverpool Muslim Outreach. All credit for the original content and design of the YQGEMS series belongs to its creators.
